Renacer Foundation recently welcomed children, youth, and families for a Back to School event focused on helping students prepare for the beginning of a new academic year.
During the event, school supplies were distributed to participating children and youth, providing essential materials they can use as they return to their classrooms and begin their new school routines.
The day also included an educational presentation on pediatric neuroradiology, giving families an opportunity to learn about an area of medicine that connects pediatric health, medical imaging, and neuroscience.

Preparing Students for the New School Year
The distribution of school supplies was one of the central activities of the event.
Children and youth received materials to help them prepare for classes and start the academic year with the basic tools needed for school.
Back to School activities provide an opportunity to support students before classes begin while also bringing families together around education and preparation for the months ahead.
For Renacer Foundation, these activities are part of its continued work with children, youth, and families through programs and events focused on education and personal development.

Learning About Pediatric Neuroradiology
Education extended beyond school preparation during the event.
Families also participated in a presentation focused on pediatric neuroradiology, an area of medicine that uses imaging technologies to examine the brain, spine, head, and nervous system in children.
The presentation introduced participants to a specialized field of health and science and created an opportunity for families and young people to learn about topics they may not regularly encounter in school or everyday life.
Including educational presentations within family events allows students to explore new subjects while encouraging curiosity about health, science, medicine, and possible future academic interests.

Support That Made the Event Possible
Renacer Foundation extends special thanks to Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) for its contribution and continued support.
OUC’s participation helped make the Back to School event possible and supported the distribution of school supplies to participating students.
Renacer Foundation also recognizes Hispanic Access Foundation for its collaboration and participation in the project.
The combined support of organizations, volunteers, families, and staff made it possible to bring together school preparation and educational opportunities during the same event.

Starting the Academic Year Prepared
The Back to School event provided participating students with practical school materials while also offering families an opportunity to learn together.
As children and youth begin another academic year, Renacer Foundation will continue developing opportunities that connect education, learning experiences, and resources for families.
We thank every family, volunteer, partner, and supporter who participated and helped make this Back to School event possible.
